I came to the River Bible Institute with a desire to learn all I could about God, the principles of His kingdom, and how I could effectively live a life on fire for God.  I was not satisfied with where I was, but I knew God recognized my desire to know Him better when He told me to come to RBI, a Bible school I had never heard of.

Since moving to the Tampa area, and being in services of revival, God has already been coming through for me, providing for me.  I did not have a lot of time to make the transition over here, but God lined everything up perfectly.  I graduated with a bachelor’s degree exactly two weeks before RBI orientation, and I was able to secure a work transfer to a store in Riverview.

God is so good.  These past couple weeks of revival and orientation, I’ve noticed an increasing level of boldness in my identity as a son of God, being not ashamed to tell all my new fellow employees that I am here for Bible school.

I must first say “What an amazing two weeks!”  I listened and watched online the first week then attended live in person at The River the following Wed. morning. His power and presence was there to touch every open heart.  We ordered a complete set of cd’s as a reference for building a strong foundation for the walk of faith to run the race.

For me, I was in a marinade letting the oil breakdown and soften a hardened heart of hurt, and pain I thought was gone, but was really hiding.

On my way to church I dropped off my car at the collision center to replace the front plastic bumper and grill damaged from some road hazard, I thought maybe $500.00 would cover it until they popped the hood and took a look inside. WOW the hidden damage inside the engine compartment was very extensive, brackets, condenser, radiator, arm support yada yada yada. The repair jumped from $500.00 to over $2300.00 and that’s three to four times more to fix what we couldn’t see just looking from the outside. The adjuster asked how long I’ve been driving the car like this, I said “Just over 1 year now.”   He was amazed that everything appeared to be working in the condition it was in.

As the van drove me to church I thought “That was me!” showing a little damage on the outside and a wreck on the inside. “Jesus fix me” I’m hurting, I’m still functioning, but could be sidelined if this isn’t addressed properly. Get in the service Wed. morning, Wed. night, Thurs. morning, Thurs. night, Fri morning, and Fri. night.  MARINATING. I’m feeling the tug for bible school.

So with a Pastoral recommendation I’m back in Bible school…..again . Going to let Jesus work on me …..again. The driver of the van got saved,…. and as for my car….it’s still in the shop……Regis A.

The end of last week proved that America is ready for a Great Awakening. I’ve been able to serve in many areas at RMI and see the power of God working in and through many people’s lives. Monday night, the 3rd of January, was the first time that I worked in the call center answering Great Awaking prayer calls. There were people calling from all over the United States. I had the privileged of leading people to the Lord, seeing them healed, and baptized in the Holy Spirit. There’s nothing like fulfilling the great commission.

That same week, on Friday, we took a group from our youth and went out soul winning at a local high school. There were about thirteen of us all together. In a couple of hours, we were able to lead 249 people to the Lord! We got to pray with the baseball team, the ROTC, and the drama team! That doesn’t include the many students we got to pray with just walking home. It was so awesome to see young people between the ages of 13-19 out preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

On the way home we passed another local high school and noticed that they had some teams practicing as well. We pulled into the parking lot and the coach let us pray with the entire soccer team. Another coach let one of our girls pray with the girl’s basketball team. It’s amazing what God is doing. This is only the beginning. -Erica J

This week has been amazing; God has been doing awesome things here as we broad cast live from the river at Tampa bay church. The power what is happening here-people around the word are watching and getting tuned in with what we do here as a life style. Different churches are coming on board with us to bring in the harvest of Souls.

In my life personally this week the Holy Spirit really fell on me Wed night service as I pressed in to the presence of God. I feel like that night my spirit man really got hold of the weight and the awesome opportunity that has been set before us as we go live in peoples homes. This is just so awesome I can’t wait to see all that God is going to do in America. – Angela T.

This week has been amazing. God has used this time in the winter camp meeting in such a miraculous way to work on my heart and character. There has been a time since I feel like I’m fighting against the wall but in this week I finally got my breakthrough. It seems like somehow I have given way to much attention to the things and situations around me that was distracting me all this time long. I was using way to much my head trying to figure out how to solve problems, make everything work and lead my daily walk. God can’t change your situation, character and heart if you are not trusting Him completely.

There is no way to trust God partially.  It is the same about anointing. Pastor Rodney was teaching a lot on anointing this week but nothing will happen if the heart is not open and there is no willingness to yield to the Holy Spirit completely. And is something I was missing out lately. I gave to much place to enemy and my flesh that I lost the point of walking in the anointing on daily basis. And thank you Jesus that He led me back to His roots. Focusing our hearts to the Lord and yielding completely.  –Eddy L.

Wow is all I can say. These meetings have been so powerful this week. I have been able to press in and make it until the end of all the day meetings and almost every night meeting this week. And God is so good! It’s awesome to see how so many persons lives are being impacted by the Great Awakening and all that God is doing. It’s great to be able to be used by God for a time like this and to be working for a ministry like this – one that is going after souls and reaching the lost.

The testimonies are amazing! People that have never gone out before are going out on the streets and winning souls and you can see that it is real to them and that they have been changed dramatically in their lives. America is finally getting this and soon every believer will have a passion for souls and everybody will be saved and have to confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

This week I sowed 2 very precious possessions because I felt the Lord telling me to. Pastor Rodney said at a daytime meeting to detach oneself from the things of the world. I realized that there are some things that I have to let go of, even though they are good to have and there’s no sin in having them. I did 4his because the Lord was telling me to and I felt that I had to do it. When a person can sow a job, benefits of that job, money, instruments, then a pet, and a ring will be easy to sow as well. I learned to be in a constant lifestyle of sowing. Nothing that I have belongs to me, it all belongs to God! Everything I have. He’s done so much for me, that this is the least that I can do.

I really look forward to what the Lord is going to do in February for the Great Awakening! –Tony C.

God meets your every need in a greater way than you could ever expect! It has been another amazing week of the Great Awakening. I can already see the fruit of this life changing war against the devil. I get to see and hear how people are getting saved, healed and delivered. The power of God is not just falling in the service but it is transferred through the TV into the homes of people, and through ever phone call made to the call center. This Tuesday night, January 11th, was a special night as The Holy Spirit started to bubble inside of me from the beginning of the service.

I felt a great expectation of how God was going to move in this service and this expectation inside of me got greater and greater as the service went on. As the message of the service was about joy, the Lord was not late to prove and confirm His word about it. The power of God touched me from the first moment and continued to work in my heart for the rest of that night. The Holy Spirit bubbled out of me and I got to laugh uncontrollably. I got filled with joy and peace and I could not contain what God did on the inside of me. I left the service that night with a deep touch from God.

It was not just a moment of joy but my heart got shaken with the love and power of God. A mark was made in my heart for eternity. Every time I get touched in that way I get amazed of how God knows your every need and how he meets them in a greater way than I could ever expect. I am left with the peace of that He is greater and stronger than every circumstance, and I can now rest safely in his hands. -Sara B.

God it is so good to me, He give me another chance to study again. I am student, here at River School of Worship. I’m learning a lot from the School. The people from my School are awesome. Teachers, students they are amazing. I never knew that a could learn anything at my age. I thought that, I was to old to learn something. But God have plans for everyone.

And his plan to me, It’s to be here in Tampa.  The River church have a big impact in my life, I can tell you that;   because the way I live my life right now. The way I talk, the way I see things, everyone can tell that something change in me. People see the deference in me. I fill like I born again. It’s amazing how God does. I just wanna thank every single person from the River School of Worship. I love you guys thank you… –Daniel P

As a student of my second year of RBI it’s a real privilege and  honor not only to attend, but also to be a  part of the Great Awakening leaded by pastor Rodney Howard-Browne every single evening at Tampa. The Great Awakening is here !!! America is being shaken by the fire of God through people who are really filled with the Holy Ghost.

The power of God works in so many amazing ways that words are not enough to express how each of us feels with the events occurring in front of our eyes. I have been really impacted by looking all the group of people and students working so hard with such enthusiasm for the Call Center at the River. * The Call Center is fully equipped with prayer warriors praying and interceding firmly with the Holy Word of God and healings, miracles, signs and wonders are taking place in many cities around the world. Some of the places are Georgia, Missouri, Montana, Texas, New York, California, Ohio, Oregon and Florida. In less than two days they received approximately 450 calls from all  over  U.S.A.

The awesome situations include people who have receive * Salvation * they never knew about the Lord, but now they know the truth about the only one Jesus !!!

Others have been blessed regarding healing. One of the cases that touched me is about a guy from Georgia who called the prayer line for the return of something stolen from him, but received his eye restored after many years. Another case a lady from Missouri who had a pain in her back for five years then after praying with a student she got healed.

The Lord is doing magnificent things such as delivering people from suicide and depression. Setting them FREE !!! Others speaking in tongues and laughing under the Holy Spirit for the first time. The river of joy has overflow from the people/students from the Call Center toward the persons on the other side of the phones. The Lord is not only the Healer, Provider, Counselor and Protector. He is the source of all and for all…… The Miracles have instant results no matter the place. Lets give the Lord all the glory and praise. Amen.  The prayer warriors are waiting for you. Went out soul winning this morning with the script 2 people got saved, they wanted to. I was giving them out. A group of young PEOPLE walked past and i gave them a script each. One of the young men threw it in the bin right out side …the… pizza shop. 10 minutes later the pizza shop owner got it out of the bin and read it. Many stopped in their tracks to read the script.

As I was leaving a lady was walking past she didn’t want the script so I said “do you KNOW God’s got a wonderful plan for life”. She smiled and said I already got that one at another place it was on my car. She got one of the scripts I have been putting on cars I have been saturating my area. This lady made my day. Call me a baby but i cried all the way home.
